- Applicants must have obtained official language test results demonstrating proficiency equivalent to level 5 or above of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB).

- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient corporate ownership or management experience to successfully establish and operate a Nova Scotia business. Applicants must have at least three (3) years of business management experience or five (5) years of higher-level business management.

-Applicants must demonstrate a personal net worth of at least $600,000 CAD. As well, successful applicants must invest a minimum of $150,000 CAD.
